Magical Mermaid
This is the 4th year our team the Magical Mermaid will be participating in the Dreams Come True Walk Run and Roll 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run. The Dreams Come True organization is dear to our hearts!
It’s been 4 incredible years! Our Dreamer Reilani was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2018 and that didn’t stop her from learning & growing. While her journey with this life-threatening illness repeatedly attempted to take her childhood…
Today, Reilani’s DISNEY DREAM came TRUE thanks to DCT and donors like you! She is a 1st grader participating in dance classes and swimming lessons after school. She just celebrated her 7th birthday. She only has bi-monthly visits at Nemours. Best of all, Reilani is 1 year CANCER-FREE!
Our brave girl has come a long way. Reilani’s sass, spirit and smile continues to sparkle. She is our “light” and a constant reminder of how precious life is.
Reilani truly is Magical!
The Dreams Come True Organization gives local families with children battling life-threatening illnesses, like Reilani, the gift of compassion, hope and love. They REALLY make Dreams Come True with your help. These BRAVE DREAMERS DESERVE IT!

This year, family & friends will walk, run, and roll at the UNF Coxwell Amphitheater during the 5K General Wave on Saturday, September 24th @ 8:15 am. For those of you supporting us from a distance, please join us by clicking on the virtual option. Each participant that registers for the race (fee of $25.00) will receive 2022 Event T-shirt & Medal. We are also more than happy to pick-up and/or ship your DCT event items. Please make sure to click on the “First Place Sports Jax Beach (424 South 3rd Street) on Fri., Sept. 23rd (10 am – 4 pm)” pick-up option.
Dream-inspired dress-up and accessorizing is highly encouraged on race day!
